Obviously, the big question we'll all have when we watch the Walking Dead season 4 mid-season premiere "After" is "what happened to baby Judith?" the raid on the prison last season has shattered the group but we never found out the fate of baby Judith. All we saw was her car seat, covered in ablood. A bad sign. Fans of the graphic novels might have an idea what happens, but the show hasn't been afraid to shy away from the comic storyline in the past so anything is possible. And during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter series creator Robert Kirkman revealed that the answer to the baby Judith question might not be in the Walking Dead mid-season premiere.

"It will be resolved with absolute certainty but it's an unknown that's out there. Revealing when it will be resolved would be somewhat of a spoiler. There will be answers, but I don't know if they're going to come necessarily soon," he said.

It's obvious from the trailers and sneak peeks that life isn't going to be easy for anyone in the wake of the governor's failed prison raid. The group is scattered and no one knows where to go to be safe. Of course, this has happened to the group before and everyone managed to get reunited. Here's hoping that our favorite characters make it through OK. Kirkman explained in the interview that the format for the next half of the Walking Dead season 4 would occasionally focus whole episodes on characters and not the group as a whole.

"There's no set formula. The format of every episode is going to be very different so you never really know what kind of episode you're going to get. It's somewhat experimental, but it's going to be a cool way to dive deep into who these characters are and what's going on with them," he said. "There will be episodes that focus exclusively on one group or a set of individuals; there will be episodes that check in on multiple groups by varying degrees; and there will be episodes that check in on everybody. It's going to be a good mix of different kinds of storytelling."
