"Breaking Bad" returns for the second part of its final season after a break of almost a year. This is the 11th episode of the season with six episodes left in part 2 of season 5. When we last left off in "Breaking Bad" Skyler had stood by Walter and resisted attempts by Hank to get her to confess. Walter seized the moment to hide his stash of money and Skyler encouraged him not to turn himself in. Jesse didn't handle things so well and, after throwing money out of his car, got taken into custody, at which point Hank found him.
AMC has released a promo trailer for you to watch to prepare you for "Breaking Bad" season episode 11 "Confessions. The cliffhanger we were left with in the previous episode of "Breaking Bad" suggests that Jesse may be the person Hank needs to get Walter. The description of upcoming episode is as follows:
"Breaking Bad" season 5 part 2 episode 11 -- "Confessions": Jesse decides to make a change, while Walt and Skyler try to deal with an unexpected demand.
In the "Breaking Bad" season 5 episode 11 "Confession," we can expect to see more pressure put on Jesse by Hank to get him to confess. Based off the title "Confessions," the most obvious person we should expect a confession from is Jesse. But perhaps Jesse will be able to resist whatever pressure and guilt trips Hank brings to bear against him. In "Breaking Bad" season 5 episode 11 "Confession," we can expect to see the return of Ted, Skyler's old flame. It is heavily implied in the trailer that someone from Skyler's past returns, in all likelihood that can only be Ted and it sounds like he wants to shake down Walter and Skyler for blackmail. When we last saw Ted he was in a hospital after Walter's attempt to scare him away went wrong and he received a fairly severe injury. He promised to tell no one and to leave Skyler alone.
Could the "Confession" referred to in the title of "Breaking Bad" season 5 episode 11 have something to do with Ted confessing his love for Skyler? That would be hard to see after everything she has put him through. From some of the trailer dialogue it looks like Walter could go on the run in the upcoming episode. We know that it happens at some point, could the next episode be it? Television Blend speculates about the meaning of some of the dialogue we hear in the trailer and who the interactions could be between:
Next we have Jesse saying "You telling me the truth. Isn't that what this is all about?" Has he moved on to a new stage of his meltdown? Who's he calling out here? We can assume Walt, but maybe it's Saul, as the attorney's voice comes next, yelling, "I never would've agreed to it if I'd known what he was gonna do. You gotta believe me." Is Saul responding back to Jesse? Or is he defending himself to Walt about something Jesse did? Or maybe it has nothing to do with that.
After "Breaking Bad" season 5 episode 11 "Confession" we have several more episodes remaining, here are their titles and a brief description of what we could expect from the episodes:
"Breaking Bad" season 5 part 2 episode 12 -- "Rabid Dog": An unusual strategy starts to bear fruit, while plans are set in motion that could change everything. (Note: Every season of "Breaking Bad" has featured an episode whose title contains an animal name.)
"Breaking Bad" season 5 part 2 episode 13 -- "To'hajiilee": Things heat up for Walt in unexpected ways. (The title is the name of a Navajo reservation in New Mexico.)
"Breaking Bad" season 5 part 2 episode 14 -- "Ozymandias": Everyone copes with radically changed circumstances. (Named after the Shelley poem about the inevitable fall of kings and empires.)
"Breaking Bad" season 5 part 2 episode 15 -- "Granite State": Events set in motion long ago move toward a conclusion. (The Granite State is New Hampshire. Is this when we catch up to the events seen in "Live Free or Die"?)
"Breaking Bad" season 5 part 2 episode 16-- "Felina": The series finale. ("Felina" is an anagram for "finale" and also is related to the word feline.)
Ultimately, we will have to wait for the "Breaking Bad" season 5 part episode 11 "Confessions" to see if Jesse confesses to Hank or holds his ground. Be sure not to miss the episode on Sunday, August 25 at 9PM E/T on AMC. If you do miss it you should be able to watch the show online for free the following night on the official site.
