UPDATED: iDigitalTImes misidentified Sunil Tripathi and Mike Mulugeta as the bombers last night. AP reports this morning that last night's police standoff with Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsaernev, Russian immigrants suspected of perpetrating Monday's bombing, has resulted in the death of Tamerlan, 26. CNN reports that last night's shooting at MIT was part of the struggle between the brothers and police; the Boston Police Department apparently engaged in a police chase which ended with the death of the older Tsaernev, as well as the MIT officer. Dzhokhar, 19, is at large at this time.
