'Sons of Anarchy' Season 6 spoilers took a disturbing turn with the news that the 'Sons of Anarchy' premiere would feature a school shooting. The scene has left some fans wondering if 'Sons of Anarchy' creator, Kurt Sutter went too far. The scene will depict a school shooting and with a handgun that will lead back to SAMCRO. That's sure to get them in trouble with the Feds, local police and demonize them in Charming. The "Sons of Anarchy" season 6 premiere date is Tuesday, September 10th at 10 PM ET/PT on FX.

Kurt Sutter explained the choice for the season 6 premiere in the Televesion Critics Assciation "I've wanted to do that story for about three years. It's an organic story to our world ... thematically, it's the right thing. ... Nothing is done gratuitously. " He said in response to criticism by those who had seen the scene that it was excessively violent and seeking to be controversial and gratuitous, "I don't want it viewed as us doing it to be controversial, to bring more eyes to the episode. I'm worried more about that kind of blowback than the public's response following its airing.

The "Sons of Anarchy" creator went on to explain that the school shooting scene in season 6 was important to plot developments in the upcoming premiere. "There's not really a statement I'm trying to make within the story. This is a story that's not being done to be sensational. It is truly the catalyst for the final act of our morality play. It sets everything in motion for this season that will ultimately lead to the end, and then will bring us into the final season and what I see as the ultimate comeuppance of everything in terms of the series. I didn't want to do that and ultimately have it just be a story beat and then go away."

It remains to be seen if fans will react well or poorly to the season 6 premiere. In a major spoiler for "Sons of Anarchy" season 6, Sutter joked he had a vision for the show's ending "I have an idea of what the final shot is and, for some reason, it's Otto (portrayed by Sutter) getting out of jail," he added actually does have an idea for the last moment of the series. Otto has suffered a series of pretty terrible mutilations throughout the show, having an eye poked out (in addition to his already blind one) and biting his tongue off. It's almost certain that in season 6 Otto won't get out of prison, not after he murdered a nurse, but will certainly suffer more mutilations before he is finally executed.

It may prove disappointing to fans, but "Sons of Anarchy" is unlikely to go beyond season 7, "I'm not going to go to [FX] and say. Hey, I need two more seasons to finish my show.'" This upcoming season and perhaps one more is the most we can expect. We feel that is suitable and it is about time the show came to some sort of close. Too many likable characters have been killed off like Opie and we strongly suspect Clay is going to die. Once that happens a great deal of the show's driving force dissipates.

Sutter is clearly trying to cram as much material as he can in "Sons of Anarchy" season 6, the show is already an hour long, but each episode will be 15 to 30 minutes longer this season according to Damian Holbrook from TV Guide. For more "Sons of Anarchy" season 6 spoilers we will have to wait and see as the premiere date gets closer. The fallout from Damian Pope's death, the nurse murder and Clay's framing still hasn't come to pass. We do know that the upcoming season will be one of the bloodiest yet.
