According to news outlets, nude photos of "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara might be hitting the tabloids soon.
The New York Post reported that Sofia Vergara, who is one of the highest paid actresses on TV, might have a nude photo scandal looming. Pictures sent to her fiancé, Nick Loeb, fell into the wrong hands when Loeb lost his Blackberry. Now, the person who found the phone is willing to sell the pictures, for the right price. A source tells the New York Post, "The photos show Sofia in her bathroom and the bedroom, and, while they are personal, they are not fully revealing. But her management team are doing their best to make sure they do not become public."
Sofia Vergara wouldn't be the first actress to be hit with a nude photo scandal in recent memory. Here are 5 other celebrities that got caught in a nude photo scandal.
In all honesty, this was a complete hoax, orchestrated by Bieber and his team to hype up his music video with Nicki Minaj, "Beauty and a Beat." But, for an entire day, Bieber and this fake Twitter account argued and battled online, captivating millions of Beiber's fans that were waiting for the pictures to be released. The unknown Twitter users, @gexwy, tweeted at Bieber saying that he was going to release photos from a stolen laptop of Beiber naked. Bieber replied to him, saying that his fans were always going to be loyal and that @gexwy had nothing on him, which sent Twitter into a frenzy. However, the scandal turned out to be a hoax when the only thing released was a really disappointing music video from Bieber and Minaj.
The "Gossip Girl" and "The Town" star got caught sending revealing pics of herself to then-boyfriend-now-husband Ryan Reynolds. At the time, Lively was filming "The Town," a movie with Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner, and had a very distinctive tattoo on her shoulder. From the pictures, you could see the tattoo that she had, but still, Lively's representatives said that those pictures were a fake and not actually real pictures of the starlet naked. If those were a fake, those were the best fakes ever created, because the girl in the pictures looked exactly like Blake Lively.
Around the same time as Blake Lively's scandal, Scarlett Johansson, who's been in hits like "The Avengers" and "The Prestige," had some trouble with nude photos as well. Johansson contacted the FBI when she found out her phone was hacked, and pictures meant for her now ex-husband Ryan Reynolds (he's married to Blake Lively now, remember?) were stolen from her phone. However, unlike Blake, Scarlett didn't deny the pictures, she embraced them. In an interview with Vanity Fair, she talked about the scandal, saying, "I know my best angles."
Pill, who is famous for being on the Aaron Sorkin-penned HBO show, "The Newsroom," stirred up some controversy earlier this year when she accidentally tweeted out a nude picture of herself. The picture was taken down almost immediately, but it still got sent out to thousands of her followers. Pill tweeted after the debacle, "Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies." Her fianace, Jay Baruchel, didn't really care, tweeting, "My fiancee is an hilarious dork. #imjustgladitdidnthappentomefirst."
The singer-songwriter, known for her on-again-off-again relationship with Chris Brown, had nude photos of herself leaked as well. Some people say that Chris Brown himself leaked the pictures, because he was jealous of Rihanna's relationship with rapper Drake. At first, people thought the pictures were a fake, because of some discrepancies, but the pictures were confirmed as authentic.
