Another free iOS and Android app, rejoice! The Sochi 2014 Medal Alert app lets users customize their Olympics experience. Download the app and select your favorite sports and teams. Sochi 2014 Medal Alert will then send push notifications to your device each time a medal is awarded during the Winter Games.

Sochi 2014 Results

The Sochi 2014 Results app for iOS and Android lets users choose the country they're rooting for as well as compile an information ticker of preferred Olympics topics. The app will then send push notifications concerning your favorite athletes. You can also follow medal races in real time as well as access complete Winter Games schedule info and results.

ESPN SportsCenter

While the ESPN SportsCenter app is for both iOS and Android, only the former has been updated with a new Winter Olympics section. The sports tab also features added support for embedded tweets in articles.

While Android devices can't currently access the ESPN SportsCenter Winter Olympics additions, another app is easing the FOMO pains. Samsung Electronics developed the Sochi 2014 WOW app to let Android users connect in real time to a system for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games. CBC Sochi 2014 App (Canada)

Hey Canadians, there's an app for you, too! The CBC Sochi 2014 app, available in English and French, offers users a live stream of the Sochi Winter Olympics. The app features highlights, news, analysis, blogs, results, medal counts, live commentary, event scheduling information as well as Canadian athletes' performances in real time.
