In the last few weeks, Skyrim's Dragonborn PS3 DLC release date has been the topic of numerous articles predicting absolutely nothing. The simple fact of the matter is that there is no definite release date for the Dragonborn DLC for the PlayStation 3 or the PC. But there have been a lot of rumors surrounding each. One of those rumors suggested that the PC release date for the Dragonborn DLC was being delayed because Bethesda, in its infinite un-wisdom, doesn't want to release it before DLC for the PS3 is available. And although Bethesda hasn't come out and said when these DLCs will be available, they felt the need to let fans know that there is not some marketing conspiracy keeping it off the PC.

"I've seen folks posting that we're holding the PC release and that's not the case. There's a lot of work that goes into getting the content ready for both platforms," Bethesda posted on their blog.

So, despite the fact that they've been able to release three DLCs for Xbox 360, Bethesda still hasn't been able to even give fans any info on when the Skyrim DLC will come to PS3 or PC. "Early 2013" is the best they've come up with so far. And, as of yesterday, they wanted fans to know that they still don't have a date in mind for fans.

"I know you guys just want answers as quickly as possible, and I'm working to get those answers to you. It's an ongoing process and there's always factors to consider (testing, submissions, coordinating with Sony, Steam, etc). We're working on all of these things behind the scenes and as everything comes together and is finalized, we'll be able to provide more details to you guys. It should be soon, but at this exact moment, I can't tell you how soon," the blog said.

PC fans feel like they have more of a gripe than PS3 fans (in the comments of the blog, at least) because the Xbox 360 DLC was designed on a PC and converted to the 360. Logic states that it should be a simple process to put the PC version together around the same time. Why it hasn't been released for PC is anybody's guess.

Bethesda just wants you to know that it has nothing to do with the Skyrim DLC for PS3.

Does this mean we'll see the PC release before the PS3 release? Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but PCs do run on Windows, and Dragonborn is already available for Xbox 360 so ...
