When it comes to accessories for my smartphones, tablets and any other mobile device, my main focus is on how each accessory helps me make the most of my portable device. I use cases from Waterfield for my PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS, a Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for my iPad and a Chewbacca-themed iPhone case from Power-A. This is what fashionistas call a "no no" as I need to accessorize all of my mobile accessories to my outfit.
Thankfully, Selena Gomez will be teaming up with Case-Mate to help show how one can properly accessorize their mobile cases to their outfits so people like me don't look like a damn fool when attempting to use their mobile devices in public without a case with faux fur or leopard prints all over it.
The "Right Case, Right Occasion" campaign will be focused on Millenials, or people who were born between 1982 and 2000, by having celebrities show off how they can accessorize their mobile devices with fashion-forward smartphone and tablet cases. As of now, no other celebrity has been announced besides Ms. Gomez, but Case-Mate promises to use a "powerful roster of fashionable, celebrity trend-setters."
Sorry, Bobcat Goldthwait. Your celebrity status officially hit rock-bottom after you voiced Mr. Floppy in Unhappily Ever After. This campaign is for real celebrities.
