Samsung is releasing the pro-tablets in Q1 of 2014, releasing a series of tablets that will be separated in "Pro" and "Lite" models. Among the tablets being released is the 8.4-imnch Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, the10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, the 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. It appears that the Pro versions of the Samsun tablets will have LTE while the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will be priced low and have only a 3G option. All of the tablet models will come in both Wi-Fi and cellular data. It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will be priced in a particularly competitive manner, it will cost just $150 when it is released in Q1 of 2014 making it one of the cheapest tablets available on the market.
The Samsung Pro tablets release date will bring the various tablets in different screen sizes. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is the first anticipated to launch by the second week of January 2014, likely shortly after CES 2014. The color will be cream white and will include a 7-inch screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will be the next two tablets to launch in week 6 of January 2014. Finally the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 will arrive last a week later. The Samsung Pro tablets will be availibile in black and white and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 will have 16GB of internal storage while the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will have 32GB of internal storage. Sam Mobile does caution that the release dates could vary somewhat but confirms that all four tablets will be launched before March 2014 is over.
The Samsung Pro Tablet release date for Q1 of 2014 in January has also seemingly been confirmed by CNET which reports some of the specs we can expect from the Pro tablets, "Reports appeared this past summer that Samsung was readying a 12.2-inch tablet with a2,560x1,600-pixel display and an S-Pen stylus. A report in October from benchmarking specialist AnTuTu said that the tablet could be powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and offer 3GB of RAM." SamMobile additionally reported that Samsung was working on tablets with AMOLED displays but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much information about that, "In fact, we wish there was some info on that tablet with an AMOLED screen that Samsung is supposedly working on."
