The most recent Samsung Galaxy S4 specs and features news comes from Enuri (via ubergizmo) a South Korean website with alleged inside information regarding the local tech company. The report reveals that the redesigned smartphone will sport a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 13-megapixel auto-focus main camera, and the S Pen stylus, which was previously exclusive to Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones and tablets.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 release date has been heavily disputed online by tech analysts and consumers. Early reports speculated that the new Android device would be unveilled at next week's CES tech convention in Las Vegas. These rumors have been squashed, but we're still hoping that Samsung will show up with something impressive, possibly the unbreakable, flexible screens we've been hearing so much about.
Samsung has already unleashed a hype video for CES, promising to deliver "something new" and innovative:
Here's an incredible video of what appears to be an early model of the unbreakable Galaxy S4 screen:
A second crop of Samsung Galaxy S4 release date rumors had the launch pegged for the 2013 World Mobile Congress (WMC) in February. However, industry analysts quickly squashed these as well, noting that based on the company's history, Samsung would almost certainly unveil at a special event devoted exclusively to the Galaxy S4.
We had hoped to see the 5-inch smartphone arrive soon after WMC, but according to the latest rumors new Android smartphone won't arrive until April. According to our big sister site IBTimes.com, the Samsung Galaxy S4 release date may not arrive until October 2013.
Another popular Samsung Galaxy S4 release date that's been flying around is that the new smartphone's launch could be tied to the upgraded Android 5.0 operating system, likely called "Key Lime Pie."
