"Orange is the New Black" season 2 premiere date news remains the same. The Netflix original series is still expected to return sometime in 2014. New news has surfaced, though, regarding the production details of the prison series. The cast and crew have widely confirmed via social media their presence in New York City. The "Orange is the New Black" cast revealed recent shooting in Park Slope, Brooklyn as well as Astoria, Queens. This reaffirms the previously reported "Orange is the New Black" spoiler via actress Samira Wiley, stating that the show is currently in the middle of shooting season 2. Let's look at more production details below.

"Orange is the New Black" season 2 production just wrapped a shoot in Park Slope, specifically the Grace United Methodist Church on Seventh Avenue and St. John's Place. Park Slope Stoop and neighborhood locals spotted trailers for Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes), Deborah Rush (Carol Chapman), as well as seeing actor Jason Biggs in the flesh. Perhaps the most ironic news surrounding the "Orange is the New Black" shoot was a set robbery. DNA Info reports that over $4,000 in set equipment were swiped, according to police reports. While a private security guard was on watch, the area was open to the public, with the subsequently stolen cables laying on the ground. A rather "OITNB" inspired wrongdoing.

"Orange is the New Black" castmember Pablo Schreiber also dished some production details via Twitter. The actor stars as George "Pornstache" Mendez, the depraved prison guard notorious for his corrupt ways (and even more so for his legendary facial hair). Schreiber tweeted two photos on Tuesday to proclaim the return of the Stache. One photo shows Kaufman Astoria Studios, a TV production locale where much of "Orange is the New Black" is shot. The other displays Schreiber, stache down, sporting his Federal Department of Corrections uniform. Pablo Schreiber isn't the only "OITNB" castmember to spill spoilers. The onscreen apple of Pornstache's eye, inmate Dayanara Diaz, talks season 2.

Actress Dascha Polanco, who plays Diaz, reveals "Orange is the New Black" season 2 spoilers. Polanco is definitely returning for the upcoming season and spoke with Enstarz on what viewers can anticipate for the future of "OITNB".

"There's a depth in the show, and instead of violence, it involves a lot of relationships that women may have in prison. More intimacy, more sexuality, more bonding, spending the moments while you are there. You have to develop these to keep on going and have a motivation," Polanco said. The "Orange is the New Black" actress also discussed her character's personality in the show moving forward. "Dayanara is very naive in a sense, naive but yet she's a very calm, concentrated, very focused young lady. Her surroundings affect her personality per se, and kind of bring out things of her that you wouldn't expect," Polanco added.

The "Orange is the New Black" season 2 premiere date has yet to be officially announced, but clearly the cast and crew are making serious headway in production and character development. With a fairly certain 2014 release, fans of the Netflix original series will have to wait until the new year to binge-watch their favorite orange jumpsuit-donning ladies. "It's gonna get pretty crazy in the second season, so now that we've established and know who everybody is, there's like room to get in deeper into the belly of the beast so I think that that's going to be exciting for people to see," actress Taryn Manning (Pennsatucky) said.
