The "Orange is the New Black" season 2 Netflix premiere date will likely hit the streaming service mid-2014. The latest news reveals that the prison series will continue filming into February, with many of the cast members already shooting their last scenes. Actor Matt McGorry (John Bennett) teased photos and videos of his final moments filming "OITNB" season 2.

The "Orange is the New Black" actor stated in an Instagram photo: "Wrapping season 2 of #oitnb today! FYI - That doesn't reveal anything relating to any story lines or when season 2 airs (which no one currently knows the answer to)." He also posted an Instagram photo on set with actress Dascha Polanco, his onscreen love interest inmate Dayanara Diaz.

While little to no "Orange is the New Black" season 2 spoilers were divulged in any of McGorry's photos or videos, they do confirm speculation that the show is beginning to wrap up production. Plus, we already can anticipate an "amazing" second season, reportedly even "better than the first," according to cast members Jackie Cruz and Jason Biggs, respectively.

"Orange is the New Black" season 2 filming locations have also been recently unveiled. On Location Vacations reports that "OITNB" filmed at Rockland Children's Psych Center in Orangeburg, New York on Wednesday. The Netflix series will also reportedly continue shooting at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverhead, New York between January 22 and February 6. The TV casting call info DOES tease a little of what viewers can expect come season two - a recurrently diverse ensemble. The post states:

"All ages, ethnicities, shapes and sizes required. The scarier the look - the better!"

If "Orange is the New Black" season 2 finishes filming in February, the show will likely premiere on Netflix around spring 2014. Expect the showrunners to make the official release date announcement shortly after wrap up. Meanwhile, check out the cast's social media accounts for real-time updates on filming.
