The "Orange is the New Black" season 2 premiere date is set for 2014, likely early to mid-year. The show is still filming in New York City, as can be witnessed in the teeming adorable photos posted by cast members Taryn Manning, Lea DeLaria, Taylor Schilling and more. Recently, another star dished details on what fans can expect some season 2. Actress Constance Shulman shares insight on her character Yoga Jones and other second season teasers.

Constance Shulman says Yoga Jones is "calm and Zen and introspective and curious and soul searching..." Shulman's "Orange is the New Black" character Jones stars as the peacemaker of Litchfield. In season one, Jones tells inmate Janae Watson (Vicky Jeudy) that she used to grow marijuana on her acre of land, and was often drunk. She was incarcerated after she shot and killed an eight-year-old-boy she mistook for a deer while in a drunken stupor. Will we learn more about Yoga Jones in season 2? Maybe.

"Orange is the New Black" season 2 will feature a "deeper exploration of the amazing women we were introduced to in season one. The show has a wide array of characters to become invested in... Yoga Jones is just a piece of the very large, elaborate mosaic," Shulman told the Wall Street Journal.

The character development on "Orange is the New Black" is one of the most intriguing aspects of the show. The flashbacks continuously piece together the puzzles of the inmates, allowing viewers to slowly learn that there is much more than meets the eye. Actress Taylor Schilling recently shared what lured her to the role of Piper Chapman.

"I was really attracted to all of the different parts of Piper that were on the page. That she was sort of able to express so many different aspects of herself. I don't usually see that in a lot of the scripts that I read. So I was really happy to have that opportunity. The humor was there. The triumph was there. The heartbreak was there. It was all sort of on the page. I really was attracted to that," Schilling said in a TV interview.

The "Orange is the New Black" season 2 premiere date has yet to be announced, but it will surely return to Netflix in 2014. The announcement is expected to come from Netflix and showrunners shortly following its season 2 wrap-up. Check back for more spoilers and release news in the meantime.
