So, we have been discussing the missteps and just complete and utter debacle that NBA 2K14 has been since its release. For next-gen users, NBA 2K has been unplayable for most users since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release in November. Reports of different modes, including MyGM and MyCareer, not working and in some cases freezing completely. In a report earlier this month, there were reports of the game kicking out of the modes and going all the way back to the main menu screen. For PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users, 2K has totally abandoned those folks as there has not been a patch since the game's release for those consoles in October. Overall, 2K has crapped the bed with this game.

While there has been some reports of things getting better with the game and a fourth patch coming for next-gen users, there is one thing that is comforting many players of the game. It seems as if 2K, as a way to atone for their sins, are releasing random NBA 2K14 Locker Codes that gives users free VC points. While some users have reported VC point miraculously disappearing at times, these point have been a godsend for some NBA 2K players.

While many are still unhappy with NBA 2K14, there are some codes that users can use for this MyPlayer, MyCareer and MyGM modes. The one weird thing about these set of codes that is different from others is the duration of them. Most of the NBA 2K Locker Codes that have been released have an average shelf life of 3-4 days with one code lasting about a week back in December. This current code has a shelf life of well over 200 days. Now for those who has of yet not redeemed one of the codes in the last few weeks, here is how you redeem for your free VC points.

- Go to the main menu

- Select Locker Codes

- You will enter the NBA 2K14 Locker Code that you have

- Go to Enter on the virtual keyboard and you will have your 2,000 VC points

Well enough talking, here are NBA 2K14 Locker Codes worth 2,000 VC, first for those with next-gen consoles courtesy of Boxen.

These codes are supposed to last for over 200 days and while it seems hard to believe, Ronnie Singh of 2K apparently confirmed the length of these codes.

Are these VC codes making life easier on you? Or you like many people and you are done with this game for the time being?
