Porn on Google Glass? Porn MADE with Google Glass? Until now, previews of Google's new eyepiece have revolved around ziplines, roller coasters and skydives, but the upcoming release of Glass (TBA) could find the product in places the sun doesn't shine. Talks of utilizing the cutting-edge gadget in the pornographic industry have circulated, as both porn directors and actors have poked around this idea.

Q Boyer, a spokesman for adult filmmakers Pink Visual, said, "To really know their full potential, we'll need to get a pair to play around with, but we're already dreaming up ways to use the glasses to get shots (sex-related and otherwise) that just aren't feasible using a traditional camera setup," according to the Daily Mail. "Obviously a device that allows you to shoot high-quality video in a truly hands-free fashion will make shooting point of view (POV) porn that much easier."

Google Glass's features include sharing what you are seeing in real-time. The devices have a camera next to the user's eye which can take photos or record video without a red light or a shutter sound, according to the Daily Mail.

Porn actress Alana Evans has already said it would likely spark a "huge drive" in POV filming, and Missy Martinez, another porn actress, has said it could lead to a slew of "gonzo-style" movies from amateurs with no experience.

"Google Glass opens up new opportunities for reality-based films," says Peter Acworth, CEO of San Francisco-based Kink.com, one of the country's largest Internet fetish porn companies, according to Biz Journals. "You could film picking up someone at a bar and taking them home, for example," he said. "It takes the whole genre of POV and reality productions one stage further. You'll hopefully get something very authentic."

While Acworth says he hasn't yet had the chance to test out Google Glass, he is looking forward to trying them out. "We'll get so used to people wearing them that you'll never know if you're being filmed or not," he said.

On the other hand, being able to film with such ease and discretion has concerned others in terms of privacy issues. Movie theaters and pirating, strip clubs and filming and casinos and cheating are all fears expressed with the introduction of Google Glass, according to the Daily Mail.

The mashup of Google Glass and porn was even teased in a recent "Saturday Night Live" sketch. In a Weekend Update skit last week, Fred Armisen is caught watching adult films on the new gadget.

I wonder if Google could have predicted that their new toy, displayed on the website engaging in activities such as snowboarding, hot air ballooning and twirling around a young child, would be used in more X-rated undertakings. Google's Chairman Eric Schmidt acknowledged that the mission of the wearable camera was to "go right up to the creepy line and not cross it."

We'll see.
