"Game Of Thrones" season 4 spoilers are highly coveted with the show returning next year. But unlike a book where the author can change things at will, a television show deals with real people. And as such, real people can be a variable when telling a narrative. The actor Jack Gleeson, known to "Game Of Thrones" fans for his portrayal of King Joffrey on the show, may or may not return to the show.

Christian Post reports that the Joffrey actor Jack Gleeson is looking to leave acting, saying that the lifestyle of a television actor isn't something he "gravitates towards." Chances are Gleeson would leave GoT after the showrunners no longer need his character or the series ends, whichever may come first. But if not, HBO may have to pull an Aunt Vivian. "Game Of Thrones" season 4 spoilers suggest Joffrey playing a key role in the upcoming year of "Ice And Fire." Maybe the Home Box Office network can convince him to stay on a little while longer -- if we hate him as much as we do then Gleeson must be doing something right.

Update 4.13.2014: Now we know why King Joffrey was assumed to leave! (Spoilers!!) With the events of the Purple Wedding, King Joffrey has kicked the bucket! Gotta love George R.R. Martin.

"Game Of Thrones" Season 4 spoiler suggest King Joffrey Actor May Leave!

On the one hand, it's pretty surprising someone would have access to this level of fame and not want any of it. "Game Of Thrones" actor Gleeson doesn't want the lifestyle millions of others would kill for. On the other hand, it's great to see such a down to earth young star. After recently traveling to Haiti, the actor wants to focus more on charity and his studies. Well, color us impressed.

This news comes amongst more "Game Of Thrones" season 4 spoiler re-castings. The actor for Tommen Baratheon a more minor role, is to be changed as well this new season. Rumor has it that Tommen will play a much more important role this go 'round. Though we'll have to wait until next year before we can confirm.

This past season of GoT was certainly a doozy. Among many events, the most memorable and heartbreaking was definitely the Red Wedding. In "Rains Of Castamere," we see many characters attend a wedding and are promptly killed once the Lannister song begins to play -- including Rob's wife, yet to be born child and Rob himself. Red Weddings aside, we see many of our favorite characters like Jon Snow and Danaerys Targaryen return. The bastard Stark child was able to successfully climb the wall with the apple of his eye Ygritte. Though near the end of the season, Snow betrayed her and the other Wildlings. While he was almost close to reuniting with his brother Bran, Snow escaped before being able to do so.

The mother of dragons began her quest to become Lincoln and free the various enslaved peoples of the "Song Of Ice And Fire" universe. While this year's episodes didn't give much in the way of "Game Of Thrones" season 4 spoilers, I think we can expect some interesting things from the mother of dragons in the coming episodes.

"Game Of Thrones" season 4 spoilers aside, the upcoming book "Winds Of Winter" is also on everyone's mind. The upcoming book has a spoiler or two revealed about it already. Though knowing George R.R. Martin, it may be a while before we see the book's release.
