Winter is coming, but not with the third season of Game of Thrones. For that, GOT fans have to wait until Spring. March 31, to be exact. HBO has taken the first step in what will undoubtedly be a MAJOR ad campaign for Game of Thrones Season 3 by plugging the following trailer into its Sunday night line-up.

Speculation abounds as to the identity of the female narrator in the trailer. Is it a new actress? New character? Nobody knows for sure.

So the GOT fan site is fervently following all things related to Game of Thrones Season 3 on HBO. Including the locations and schedules for the actual filming of the series. The latest update reveals that the Red Wedding has been filmed, as well as photographic evidence of the mutilation of Jaime Lannister. (If you've read Storm of Swords you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you haven't you should. It's basically the 'Empire Strikes Back' of the entire Game of Thrones series.)

Apparently the Red Wedding took almost two weeks to shoot, leading to speculation that it will be an epic moment (in terms of screen time, not just plot) for Game of Thrones Season 3. Not to mention other epic moments in 'Storm of Swords' including (but not limited to) the comeuppance for King Joffrey and Tywin Lannister, Arya's fate, Stannis and the Night's Watch, and Sam becoming Sam the Slayer.

There is much speculation on where, exactly, HBO will split 'Storm of Swords' since George R. Martin said in an interview that season four of the series will be part 'Storm of Swords,''Dance of Dragons' and 'Feast For Crows.' If Game of Thrones Season 3 ends with the Red Wedding, expect some disappointed TV fans.
