Lindsay Lohan finally has company from celebritydom since Brooke Mueller has also checked into the Betty Ford Center. And if TMZ reports are true, they have already met each other and spent some time together exchanging pleasantries at the hospital wing of the clinic.
It's not yet sure if Brooke and Lindsay have been close in the past. If they have not been then, Lindsay and Brooke can do a lot of catching up, as they are going to be in there for a while now. And when they run out of pleasantries, they can dedicate their future meeting into discussing the one person that binds them together - Charlie Sheen, Brooke's former husband and Lindsay's self-appointed mentor.
Sheen has been very vocal about his desire to mentor Lindsay, and has even given her money when she hit a rough patch. Early this year Sheen told TMZ that he felt a kinship with Lindsay and wanted to help her sort out her life. "I have a kinship with somebody who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not," he said. "She can continue to hang out with her dress-shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who's been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey."
"If she listens, she'll win. If she doesn't, that's on her."
It is not yet sure if Lindsay would have benefited from Sheen's mentoring, for TMZ terms him as someone "who has given lots of money to both [Lindsay and Brooke] ... and possibly drugs."
In the meantime, Lindsay seems to be working through her problems, as her dad Michael spoke to RadarOnline.com of a potential family therapy session soon. "It's the only thing that will give Lindsay resolve and a chance to finally have her life and both parents back in her life," he told the website. "This is about Lindsay, not Dina or me. Our family needs healing and that's the only way Lindsay is going to beat this. I'll be there for anything she needs," he concluded.
