Brewmeister's "Armageddon," the beery brainchild from a team of Scottish micro-brewers, shattered the record for world's strongest beer, clocking in at a whopping, game-changing 130-proof. Brewmeister's "Armageddon," which dethroned Utopias, the previous record-holder for world's strongest beer by a whopping 80-proof margin, will be available for delivery worldwide by going to the Brewmeister website and clicking here to purchase it.

Those of you most excited to sample the world's strongest beer, take note: there's a two-week wait for delivery on Brewmeister's Armageddon, as demand far exceeds supply at presents.

The 130-Proof Brewmeister's Armageddon was developed by freezing a previous brew, then throwing away all the ice that developed. The end result was a hoppy, viscous concentrate that, according to Brewmeister, still boasts "lots of flavour," in spite of its alcoholic content.

On its flavor profile, Brewmeister's Armageddon notes: "Despite being 65% [alcohol], this beer has lots of flavor. It's slightly sweet, hoppy, malty and retains much of the yeast present during fermentation."
