"Psycho" fans have been waiting patiently for the new upcoming A&E series, "Bates Motel." While the premiere date remains months away (March 2013 to be exact), a bootleg clip from the show has leaked online

DreadCentral.com received the bootleg clip of "Bates Motel from a fan known as "NormanB." While the quality is (of course) not that great, the content of the clip definitely is.

"How can God, who made all this beautiful stuff in the world, make stuff that's scary and evil?" a girl named Emma asks a young Norman Bates (played by Freddie Highmore).

The video then shows some real intense clips from the series, including: a man crushed by what appears to be a shelving unit and a pretty serious tempertantrum.

"We're not remaking psycho," explains Vera Farmiga in a behind the scenes interview. "We're using it as inspiration."

The series is being set in modern day with Norman Bates attending high school. Described as a "sweet boy," Norman definitely has some serious inner demons. And his "beautiful" mother doesn't appear to be all that innocent either.

The cast explains that the episode scripts are definite page turners, bound to leave viewers dying to find out what happens next. Judging by the video...we definitely agree!

While an exact premiere date for "Bates Motel" has yet to be announced, a synopsis for the first episode has been released.

Titled, "First You Dream, Then You Die," the premier episode is about Norma Bates and her son Norman moving to an "idyllic" coastal town to buy a motel and start over.

"Bates Motel" premieres in March 2013.
