All has been quiet on the free Virtual Currency front for NBA 2K14. For a two-month stretch, 2K released VC for their annual basketball games on what seemed like was a weekly basis. Early on in the giveaway, the currency was for current-gen consoles (PS3, Xbox 360) and next-gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One) but as of late, the focus has shifted to just the PS4 and Xbox One systems. Has 2K forgotten about the current-gen users a bit?

On Wednesday, 2K continued to show their generous spirit by releasing new Locker Codes for the popular MyTeam mode in NBA 2K14. Once again, the code is only for those players who are playing the game on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and not current-gen systems. This particular code is worth 20,000 VC for use in MyTeam mode. Now for those who has of yet not redeemed one of the codes in the last couple of months, here is how you redeem the code for your MyTeam VC points.

- Go to the main menu

- Select Locker Codes

- You will enter the NBA 2K14 Locker Code that you have (Use All Numbers, Letter And Dashes)

- Go to Enter on the virtual keyboard and you will have your 20,000 VC points

Well enough of my talking, here are NBA 2K14 MyTeam Locker Codes worth 20,000 VC. This code expires on March 17.

Since the third patch was released for NBA 2K14 in February, the criticism surrounding the game has died down considerably. While that sounds like a good thing, the damage may have already been done as many users traded the game in and/or received refunds after weeks of the game not working properly due to freezing and certain modes being unplayable. While 2K still holds the edge over NBA Live 14, the gap has closed considerably and the upcoming versions of both basketball game this fall should create an interesting and intense competition.

Heading into the all-important Spring and Summer development months, which game has the edge heading into the fall? Will you be buying NBA Live 15 or NBA 2K15? Let us know in our comments section.
