The "Orange is the New Black" season 2 Netflix premiere date could be announced soon, seeing as the show reportedly has the special day scheduled. Danielle Brooks (Taystee) teased a photo on Instagram Tuesday in which the actress revealed she "got to find out when season 2 is coming!!" Her fellow "Orange is the New Black" cast member Natasha Lyonne (Nicky) also disclosed that the show is just "two episodes away from wrapping up the season." The "Orange is the New Black" actress also unveiled some season 2 spoilers ahead of the speculated mid-2014 premiere.

"Everything on that show is functioning at two levels at all times," Lyonne said. "There's a real underbelly of suffering and pain. We're people in prison who have this albatross of regret of making, at some point, a terrible decision that led us to be there . . . And Netflix feels like mavericks, there's not restrictions and walls, they really just want to make the best thing possible."

Danielle Brooks has also been leaking some "OITNB" season 2 details leading up to the TBD Netflix premiere. On the actress's Instagram account, she posted a photo of a walkie talkie, handcuffs as well as Tasha Jefferson's inmate ID (her onscreen character, better known as "Taystee"). The caption states, "Borrowed a few things from #MrHealy today to handle some business." What business Brooks is referring to is still unknown. What's clear is that the cast members are becoming much less tightlipped on matters concerning second season.

Based on "Orange is the New Black" season 2 production details, the show will likely finish filming in early February. This would give the show a premiere date around spring 2014. Hopefully we will find out soon. What we do know is that the "OITNB" cast members have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Netflix original series.

"I'm so proud to be part of that show, it is really satisfying to be proud of the work that we're doing. We have such a nice thing going with all of us that feels really great as a woman, and hopefully [through] these projects, slowly we're chipping away at these ideas--that gay people are considered second class citizens, that women are considered second class citizens--and it feels great to be part of that. And in both cases, it's really funny and original stuff, great writing, great voices," Lyonne told Fashion & Style.
