GTA V spoilers rained from the heavens over the weekend after an intrepid group of techno gurus managed to hack into the digital download pre-order file for GTA V on the European PSN servers. Although a playable version of the game wasn't leaked the hackers managed to extract a treasure trove of GTA V spoiler data, including a rumored 42 hours worth of audio files for the game's soundtrack. Fortunately, Redditor BankerShanker put together a list of (most of) the leaked tracks, as well as the accompanying radio stations:

The GTA V soundtrack spoilers have also been compiled into a Spotify playlist (courtesy of The Verge) so you can also enjoy the GTA V soundtrack here:

Naturally, after the GTA V spoilers leak went live online this weekend, Sony had to do a little damage control for, you know, kinda sorta spoiling the most anticipated video game of this generation (someone please tell me again how PSN is a better, more reliable network than the so-far-unhacked Xbox LIVE). Here's the word from Sony regarding their incompetence:

Regrettably, some people who downloaded the digital pre-order of Grand Theft Auto V through the PlayStation Store in Europe were able to access certain GTA V assets. These assets were posted online. We have since removed the digital pre-order file from the PlayStation Store in Europe. We sincerely apologize to Rockstar and GTA fans across the world who were exposed to the spoiler content. GTA V is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year with a very passionate following, and we're looking forward to a historic launch on September 17.

Naturally, Rockstar also needed to take the time to comment on the GTA V spoiler leaks and the GTA V soundtrack getting out there:

Unfortunately, as many of you may already know, some people who downloaded the digital pre-order of Grand Theft Auto V through the PlayStation Store in Europe were able to access certain GTAV assets leading to leaked information and media from the game appearing online. You can read Sony's statement on this here: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/08/24/grand-theft-auto-v-update/. As you can imagine, we are deeply disappointed by leaks and spoilers being spread in advance of the game's launch. GTAV represents years of hard work by many people across the world, and we all couldn't be more excited to finally share it with you properly this September 17th. Please stay tuned here at the Rockstar Newswire for all announcements about GTAV between now and game release as we definitely still have more to officially reveal.

There you have it, the GTa V soundtrack is all but officially released. Enjoy the tunes and the daydreams they'll inspire as you picture yourself cruising around Los Santos doing any number of badass things.
