Moto X specs, features and price have leaked thoroughly, pretty much everything we need to know about the device. We know that it will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with a customized camera UI, we know the Moto X price will be a reasonable $299 for 16GB and $349 for 32GB. We also have a good idea of the Moto X specs from leaks, @evleaks reported: "Anyway, the specs include a 720p display of unknown dimensions and 1.7GHz dual-core Krait CPU with 2GB of RAM on the MSM8960 Pro chipset. Internal memory is 16GB, but a microSD card slot isn't mentioned."

Some interesting additional Moto X specs and features have leaked to us from Taylor Wimberly, a former owner of Android and Me who got his hands on the Moto X. Wimberly reported reported that the Moto X would use a new octa-core processor developed by Motorola, the X8 Mobile Computing System that is in the entire new Droid line. According to the Motorola presentation, the X8 will have a dual-core processor, a quad-core graphics processing unit, a single-core contextual computing processor and a single-core natural language processor [2+4+1+1].

The Moto X,  X8 processor would be between 24 percent and 100 percent faster than the current Droid devices. The X8 processor confirms various features of the Moto X, primarily the always-on voice commands and the powerful sensors that CEO Dennis Woodside spoke about earlier. The presence of the dedicated language processor would take care of all aspect of voice command related features of the Moto x, "Called "Touchless Control," the feature will allow users to interact with the either model of the new Droids by using their voice."

A Roger Wireless tech demo reveals how this would work for the Moto X:

Shaking the Moto X twice would allow users to quickly transition to the camera. Other leaks from Wimberly reported the following Moto X features on his Google+ page:

Moto Magic Glass: Moto X features something called Moto Magic Glass. This is a single sheet of Gorilla Glass which is molded to a special polymer to make a continuous surface that wraps around the entire front and edges of the device. There is zero gap with the back.

xWATCH/Google smartwatch: Did some digging on that "Google Watch." Turns out it was called the Moto xWATCH and scheduled to launch same time as moto x. Don't know if it was delayed or had a name change, but the two products definitely integrate in some interesting ways for device authentication. Guess we find out on August 1st.

Standalone dual-LTE antennas: Moto X features Dual LTE MIMO Smart Antennas, which should deliver the best 4G LTE performance (faster data speeds and better reception). Most OEMs support 4G technologies on the same antenna as 2G/3G, but Moto will have 2 antennas dedicated to 4G LTE. There will be 5 antennas inside Moto X: 4G main, 4G diversity, 2G/3G main, GPS, and BT/WiFi. Please +1 or share for more moto goodies.

In terms of Moto X design, the molded Gorilla Glass is particularly interesting; wrapping it around the entire device will give it a sleek feeling. We know the Moto X will come in different materials according to Wimberly but we don't know if that will include different materials. Gorilla Glass is pretty hardy so we won't need to worry too much about it being damages. Just look at this video where Steve  Chippy Paine tested the type of Gorilla Glass that the Moto X will have:

The results were impressive, there was scarcely any damage at all. The dual LTE antenna's on the Moto X will come with the benefit of giving a clearer and stronger signal, also apparently it will allow use of both American and European LTE networks. We aren't too clear on what kind of integration the Moto X will have with the xWatch Google smartwatch, but it sounds like it is likely related to the promised sensor abilities.

Overall, the leaked features of the Moto X are making it an increasingly impressive phone despite the specs not being as high-end as Android aficionados had hoped. This is a mid-range phone with an amazingly low price-point, powerful features and an attractive design. The Moto X release could dominate the entire mid-range smartphone market for regular consumers.
