A Tamerlan Tsarnaev morgue photo has been posted to Reddit and is now gaining online traction after being verified as real by TMZ.

The gruesome photo of suspected Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev first surfaced on Reddit around 10:30 this morning. TMZ reports that a source in law enforcement has confirmed the alleged morgue photo of suspected Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev is real.

The apparent morgue photo of the 26-year-old bomb suspect, who was shot and killed Friday morning by police during a shootout in Watertown, Mass., shows Tamerlan Tsarnaev lying on a table with a hole on his left-side abdomen.

Law enforcement is still on the hunt for Tamerlan Tsarnaev's brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. TMZ reports that investigators are still trying to figure out who leaked the alleged morgue photo of Boston Marathon bomb suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
