Lil Wayne Released From Hospital After Sizzurp-Induced Seizure, Six Days Of Treatment [VIDEO]
Lil Wayne was released the hospital today after receiving six days of treatment for seizures following a drug binge. Reports indicate that Lil Wayne was reportedly drinking profuse amounts of "sizzurp," the purple drink created when combining prescription-strength cough syrup and alcohol, before he started experiencing seizures. During his six-day stay at the hospital, Lil Wayne was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for most of the time. He was in "critical condition" according to most reports, and he was eventually brought down to stable condition.
Lil Wayne's hospital stay was widely reported on celebrity gossip sites and hip-hop blogs. Mack Maine, a rapper and close friend of Lil Wayne, tweeted soon after reports started emerging about Lil Wayne experiencing seizures. TMZ, which is known for its accurate, albeit, scummy coverage of celebrities, reported that Lil Wayne was receiving his last rites at 5:16 p.m. (PST). The celebrity news site also reported that Lil Wayne aka Weezy F. Baby was surrounded by his family members who were all saying their goodbyes to the 30-year-old rapper.
"Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game...thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love,"tweeted Mack Maine. "We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe...that's false!!" he added.

Lil Wayne did not release a statement about his health for several days after the news began circulating celebrity gossip news sites and hip-hop blogs. If it weren't for Mack Maine, the public would have very little information about Lil Wayne's health. "Thanks to Cedar Sinai for everything!!! @LilTunechi has been officially been released and is headed home....God is great ," tweeted Mack Maine. Despite giving incremental updates about Lil Wayne's consciousness and general health, Mack Maine does not want to be considered a spokesperson for Lil Wayne. Here's the last tweet he made about Lil Wayne, where he refers to Lil Wayne as "tune," which is derived from Lil Wayn'es Twitter handle.

"I never spoke or gave any update to @xxl regarding tune's health or his tweets," tweeted Mack Maine.
Lil Wayne has also verified his condition. Although Lil Wayne has not been seen publicly or has not made an public appearances, he's sent his fans a short message using his Twitter account. "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love," tweeted Lil Wayne.
