iOS 6, 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S Release Date Announced While JavaScript Algorithm Points to Release Time
iOS 6 Jailbreak Updates
So about the same time I published my own feeble estimation of what time the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S might release, it seems someone else was doing a little calculating of their own, and this guy I have to say might be a whole lot closer to the money than me. In fact, the calculation was good enough it seems to have caught the eye of Evad3rs teammate Cyril Cattiaux aka @pod2g who acknowledged the guy's effort.

So what is the release time in question?
Well, according to "Adam" of Reddit, he figures on 12pm EST as the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak release time.
How did he come to this conclusion? Using a java script algorithm it seems.
Now I'm not gonna lie to you... I HAVE NO FREAKIN CLUE what this is all about so don't ask me in the comments section, but it fascinates me nonetheless.
So here is the code:
And here is the explanation the amazing Adam gave us.
"I just used Mathematica to calculate the value of all of these variables. As it turns out, when the 0x11c7 value is equal to 1359997200(00) the percentage is 100%. In Unix Time this value is exactly 12pm Noon EST 2/4/2013"
To explain further this is what he wrote on another Reddit thread, and the post I found in the comments section of my most recent article:
"It's increasing at ~0.0091/min which would make the release Noon EST tomorrow. (You can see the exact value in the HTML code)"
Well it didn't take long for this to catch the eye of tons of redditors as questions began to flood the pages of the evad3rs.
"Why did one of you put it as 91.2713%??? " queried @hunterray555
To which Cyril later answered with this:
"The idea is a team discussion. I quickly wrote it for the fun"
So though he didn't tell us exactly if 12pm EST was the time of the release, I'd say it's likely the best estimate we have. This would give the devs plenty of time to rest (if they can!) and be prepared for another long day.
As @planetbeing noted when asked why the evad3rs don't release tonight,
"We all want a good night's rest before we deal with all the problems tomorrow. We also want to give tweak developers a little heads-up so they can get ready and put out any updates. If Cydia does get hammered tomorrow (which hopefully it won't due to the included packages list), tweak developers often have a hard time pushing needed updates because of connectivity issues ... it just got done and it was already 2 AM in Europe and no one wants to stay up all night solving release issue"
Indeed, and well done evad3rs, you deserve a little calm before the storm.
So,again, though we are uncertain if 12p EST is a set-in-stone release date for the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S and other non-jailbroken devices, safe to say, when that time rolls around, there is no way in the world I won't be posted squarely in front of my laptop!!!

iOS 6, 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak For iPhone 5/4S Release Date Officially Announced: When Can We Expect To See A Jailbreak?
It has been a long day for iOS 6, 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S hopefuls as we all sat with crossed fingers hoping we'd see it finally emerge. Though signs pointed to the possibility of a Super Bowl Sunday release date, around 7:30 pm EST news came from the Evad3rs official twitter account that Monday, February 4th would be the actual iOS 6, 6.1 jailbreak release date.
"Final count down toward tomorrow's release has begun!"
Close behind it, came reinforcement from the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S lead man @planetbeing.
"Yes, tomorrow is a concrete release date. It's also the only release date we've ever given."
So even though we know the release will be "tomorrow", many are wondering, "In whose time zone?"
After all, in China right now the day is already half over.
Though this is terribly full of speculation, here's my best bet on the release time for the iOS 6x jailbreak.
Okay, so we know two of the evade3rs --@MuscleNerd and @planetbeing--are in California where it is currently around 5pm PT. So my guess is, if it is "tomorrow" Monday February 4th for them, it can't take place for at least 7 more hours.
However, the other two members--@pimskeks and @pod2g--are found in Europe where it is already about 2 am. This means there is only 22 hours left to their day.
Subtract the 7 hours till midnight in California, and I think we are looking at a 15 hour window of time in which the iOS 6x jailbreak release could take place.
So what is my prediction? I would say we should look for it between 12 am Monday morning California time, and 3pm Monday afternoon California time.
Of course, just as a reminder, this is all my own personal speculation and should not be taken as a serious release time frame, but at least it was something to keep me busy until the release of the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5, 4S and other non-jailbroken devices.
