iOS 6, 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak For iPhone 5/4S Release Date Officially Announced: When Can We Expect To See A Jailbreak?
iOS 6 Jailbreak Updates
It has been a long day for iOS 6, 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S hopefuls as we all sat with crossed fingers hoping we'd see it finally emerge. Though signs pointed to the possibility of a Super Bowl Sunday release date, around 7:30 pm EST news came from the Evad3rs official twitter account that Monday, February 4th would be the actual iOS 6, 6.1 jailbreak release date.
"Final count down toward tomorrow's release has begun!"

Close behind it, came reinforcement from the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S lead man @planetbeing.
"Yes, tomorrow is a concrete release date. It's also the only release date we've ever given."
So even though we know the release will be "tomorrow", many are wondering, "In whose time zone?"
After all, in China right now the day is already half over.
Though this is terribly full of speculation, here's my best bet on the release time for the iOS 6x jailbreak.
Okay, so we know two of the evade3rs --@MuscleNerd and @planetbeing--are in California where it is currently around 5pm PT. So my guess is, if it is "tomorrow" Monday February 4th for them, it can't take place for at least 7 more hours.
However, the other two members--@pimskeks and @pod2g--are found in Europe where it is already about 2 am. This means there is only 22 hours left to their day.
Subtract the 7 hours till midnight in California, and I think we are looking at a 15 hour window of time in which the iOS 6x jailbreak release could take place.
So what is my prediction? I would say we should look for it between 12 am Monday morning California time, and 3pm Monday afternoon California time.
Of course, just as a reminder, this is all my own personal speculation and should not be taken as a serious release time frame, but at least it was something to keep me busy until the release of the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5, 4S and other non-jailbroken devices.
iOS 6, 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak For iPhone 5/4S Release Date: Super Bowl Sunday is Forecasted But Could It Be Longer?
So type in the words iOS 6 or 6.1 untethered jailbreak to your Google browser and you'lll amazed how many up-to-the-minute release date reports are out there telling people that the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5/4S and other non-jailbroken devices will most definitely arrive on SuperBowl Sunday. But what if they are wrong? That's right, what if everyone has placed their bets on a Sunday release and in fact it is Monday or Tuesday or even later? Or for that matter within the next hour?
Though there have definitely been some signs that point to the fact that an iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak release date may arrive just about the time we settle in for some good eats and even better entertainment (Go 49ers!) it's very possible that though the iOS 6, 6.1 untethered jailbreak is on its way, it won't be when we expect it.
On the official evad3rs dev team website, evasi0n.com several blogs have pointed to the fact that the devices on the home screen all have their calendars set to February 3rd, further supporting the idea of a Superbowl Sunday release. Still though, I'm not totally convinced.
After all, the devs never came out and said that would be the day of the release though MuscleNerd certainly joked about the fact on Twitter asking fans what they would be doing on SuperBowl Sunday. As a result every major blog has certainly run with it. But if you go back to what planetbeing posted on Monday, it seems to me this date is still up in the air.
"In terms of release date, we're aiming for approximately a week out, but it's possible it will come sooner or later than that." Tweeted @planetbeing on Monday afternoon.
See right now they are in the beta testing phase and its quite possible something could happen to hold up the progress. It seems I'm not the only one who's been thinking this way, as over on Reddit some discussion to this effect took place, and planetbeing quickly confirmed that indeed, hitches could and had arisen, though they were still aiming for a release as quick as may be possible.
Here's just a small sampling of what I found there.
Trifax I'm so afraid that it's gonna drop to 50% if they find bugs while testing D: Hoping so much that everything goes smoothly.
planetbeing Heh, that's happened twice since we put up the status bar (part of why it's moving so slow), but we've managed to fix them at some cost to my sanity.
azurleaf I really appreciate how hard you guys work to allow our iDevices to be free! After it's released, you guys should take a well-deserved several days' vacation from code
