'Skyrim' Dragonborn PS3 Release Date; Bethesda Exec Won’t (Can’t?) Confirm February Date For PS3 But Steam Is Taking Pre-Orders
Good news for PC owners! You can now go ahead and preorder the Dragonborn DLC on Steam for $19.99. All three of the "Skyrim" DLCs, Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn, will be available on Steam on Feb. 5. There is no preorder bonus or discount, however, a fact that was not lost on Steam users.

"There's no incentive to preorder, there's no discount for preordering as Steam often has, and I haven't heard anything about preload, so there's no difference between preordering and just buying it on the day it releases," wrote a user named "Brandon" in the comments section of Bethesda's official blog.
Still, Brandon's sour jazabay grapes pale in comparison to the bitterness still lingering for PS3 owners who, despite being promised a February release date for the Dragonborn DLC, still have no official date to look forward to. Unlike Steam users, PS3 owners will be getting an "apology price" during the release weeks for each DLC. PS3 users can get Dragonborn and Dawnguard for $10 each, and Hearthfire will be a steal at $2.50.
But no one can get anything until Bethesda announces when it's going to happen. If Bethesda Exec Pete Hines' Twitter account is any indication, there is still a lot of work to be done before anything official comes to pass.
@dcdeacon Will the expansion packs be released in the first half of February or the second? If you don't know, which would you predict?

@persiannmau5 as soon as I guess/predict, people will take it as fact. We'll have a date soon enough.

@dcdeacon Would you mind Tweeting me directly when your allowed to announce dates for the new update and the DLCs? Thanks Pete.

@robertspringall sorry, you'll just have to keep an eye out for it
— Pete Hines (@DCDeacon) January 29, 2013
@dcdeacon @maxalvarez18What is HF stand for and when will this dlc be out so i can have my psn card waiting
— Andrew Piskura (@BrozZzB4HoezZz) January 28, 2013
@brozzzb4hoezzz Hearthfire. We hope to hear back and announce dates shortly
— Pete Hines (@DCDeacon) January 29, 2013
It's worth noting that all these tweets happened in the last 24 hours, and Pete Hines can expect a LOT more hate to come his way if the calendar hits February and Bethesda still hasn't announced when the PS3 DLC is coming. Bethesda has two days left to let PS3 owners know when their DLC is coming, if indeed it is still coming in February. Delays and denials are the name of the game when it comes to "Skyrim" DLC on the PS3, so owners won't be shocked if their hearts are broken again.
And the announcement needs to come soon. According to Hines tweets and the official announcement, the releases will happen one week apart. This means that the latest POSSIBLE date for the releases to start will be Feb.12, one week after the Dragonborn DLC Steam release date. But the post does say "all three should be out in February."
And PS3 owners should be willing to buy the DLC, unless that boycott petition turns into a real thing ...
