Taft High School Shooting: 2 Shot At California School; Shooter Reportedly A Student
A shooting occurred at Taft High School in Bakersfield, California, and two people are injured, according to media reports.
The shooter is currently in custody, writes IBTimes. According to 23 ABC News Channel, a local news station, the incident occurred at 9 AM, and the shooter was taken into custody at 9:20 AM. 23ABC News apparently received phone calls from people in the school hiding in closets and the Kern County Sheriff's Department is currently going room-by-room to secure the school.

Taft is located about 30 miles southwest of Bakersfield, and has 7,000 citizens.
The sheriff's spokesman spoke to the Associated Press, and apparently the shooter is a student. According to the Huffington Post, used a shotgun to attack his classmates. According to BBC, one victim has a "major injury" and the other has a "minor injury." Nothing has been actually announced, however.
