Twitter Bashes Jessie J, Queen Performance At London Olympics Closing Ceremony; Freddie Mercury Hologram Needed
Jessie J's 15 minutes of fame are officially up.
Did you think the London 2012 Opening Ceremonies was full of disappointment after disappointment with the only shining light being Rowan Atkinson's performance? Well - you probably found last night's Closing Ceremonies to be much worse as such big names like STOMP and The Spice Girls took to the world stage with many people confused as to what was going on.

But one moment in particular stood out to be the absolute worst during the 2+ hour event: Jessie J performing with Queen.
Before the original Queen band members took center stage, a video played of frontman and vocal god Freddie Mercury which had the entire stadium interacting with it as Freddie challenged the crowd to some vocal exercises.
The segment followed with Brian May playing an amazing guitar solo, who then walked towards center stage to join fellow Queen bandmate Roger Taylor, and for the third time in one evening, Jessie J.
Jessie J and Queen performed "We Will Rock You," and unfortunately for Queen, Jessie J is no Freddie Mercury.
At this time, many people were already annoyed with Jessie J as she performed her one and only hit, "Price Tag," while riding around the stadium in a car earlier in the evening. She then joined Tinie Tempah and Taio Cruz to sing Bee Gee's "You Should Be Dancin.'" But the last straw for viewers was Jessie J's final performance with Queen which would have been best to leave it to Freddie Mercury via either video recording or as a hologram as Tupac did a few months back.
The twitterverse exploded with hatred for Jessie J's attempt to perform one of Queen's most iconic songs:
Jessie J makes a very poor substitute for Freddie Mercury. Let's just have an instrumental version of "We Will Rock You" instead.
