'Taken' With A Real Dad Shows Us How Much We Need Liam Neeson As A Father [Video]

Our dad would mean well, but we'd totally be screwed.

If we learned anything from Liam Neeson's "Taken," it's to never visit a European country if you're a reasonably attractive teenage girl or else you'll be kidnapped to be sold into a life of prostitution. Luckily for Kim, Liam's character was an ex-CIA agent who, thanks to his "skills," was able to retrieve his taken daughter.

But what if our fathers weren't Liam Neeson? What if they were just your everyday run-of-the-mill pops and you've been taken? That's the exact premise behind Captain Hippo's 'Taken' with a Real Dad video.

'Taken' with a Real Dad has a man visiting Paris, France along with his buddies. When he calls home, he's greeted with complaints on why he didn't call yet and questions if he's going to be home for dinner. Unfortunately, men break into the man's place, take his friends, and ultimately takes him. This chain of events forces the real dad to jump into action as he watches episodes of Home Improvement, chats with his neighbor and fiddles with his GPS. Unfortunately, thanks to a combination of his shoddy GPS skills and crappy driving, the video ends with the man still taken and his dad at home, napping on the couch.

The video is hilarious and has us believing we would absolutely be in deep trouble if we were ever taken in another country. Let's just hope the premise for Taken 2 sparks another 'Taken' with a Real Dad video as we would love to see him jump into action yet again to save his son from "some sex-trafficking garbage thing."
