Anne Hathaway turned heads at the premiere of "Les Miserables," but not because of her black Tom Ford dress or "50 Shades of Grey" inspired boots. The actress forgot to wear one key garment - her underwear - and unfortunately flashed the world.

The photo exposes an underwear-less Anne Hathaway trying to gracefully get out of a car with a thigh-high slit dress. The gracefully bit didn't work out that well as a photo of Hathaway's nude flash has gone viral.

Hathaway met with Vanity Fair writer Ingrid Sischy the day after the embarrassing shots exploded online and revealed what happened at the premiere.

"I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn't realize it until I saw all the photographers' flashes," the actress reportedly told Sischy.

While Hathaway didn't explain why she was not wearing underwear underneath the dress, she did reveal how she felt when the flash went viral.

"It was devastating," Hathaway reportedly said. "They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them."

Despite the embarrassing set back at the "Les Miserables" premiere, Anne Hathaway still has a lot to look forward to with the movie...like the Oscar buzz!

Hathaway plays Fantine, a poor factory worker and prostitute. Hailed for her own live singing in the musical (not pre-recorded and lip synced), Hathaway is ecstatic over the Oscar buzz.

"It's flattering," she told ET Online. "I'd be lying if I didn't say it doesn't thrill me that people are predicting this. However, I've also have been doing this long enough to know that nothing's set in stone...So, I'm just really enjoying people's reaction to the film."

You can catch Anne Hathaway in "Les Miserables" when it hits theaters on December 25.
