"American Horror Story" season 3, episode 5 streaming time! Want to watch it? Start here! And "Coven" is finally really heating up, as was to be expected. After all, last week was the Halloween episode, always a seminal moment in each "American Horror Story" season. 3, also known as "Coven," was no exception. I won't spoil it for you (my colleague will, though, if you're a spoiler hound or caught up)- spoilers are the second worst thing in the world - but let's just say it was a pretty important episode. And now things are going crazy in the new episode, "Burn, Witch. Burn!" [UPDATE: "American Horror Story" just got officially picked up for a fourth season!]

So yea, things are getting good in "American Horror Story" season 3, episode 5, "Burn, Witch. Burn!" That's a great episode name, even if it's irksomely punctuated, but that's not what we're here for, I hope. We're here for witches. And, mon friars [sic], witches we shall have! As a reminder, in the Halloween episode, Fiona basically ruined the always-iffy truce between the Salem witches and voodoo queen Marie Laveau. And now the two groups are basically in all-out war, and the Coven itself was definitely caught flatfooted this time. Here's the official synopsis:

Besieged by Marie Laveau's army, Zoe unleashes a new power. Fiona and Myrtle clash over control of the Coven. Madame LaLaurie is confronted by old ghosts.

Honestly, "American Horror Story" season 3 episode 5 streaming should be a pretty good time all around - maybe even better than the lamely titled but otherwise excellent Halloween episode, "Fearful Pranks Ensue." First up, streaming: as you probably know by now, you can't stream "American Horror Story" season 3 free legally anywhere, at least not anywhere in the United States (commenters, let me know if I'm wrong). Don't get upset at me: blame Netflix and the production company and FX, who are having a fun three way tiff. Because the streaming rights for "Coven" go way, way down if it "American Horror Story" season 3 legal streams started popping up.

I know, it's a stupid and horrifying answer, and I hate to tell you that "American Horror Story" season 3 episode 5 streaming has to pick two out of three: free, legal, and existing. Tough bananas, cowpokes: I want to see it too. Instead I did what you should do: not subscribe to cable, God no, we're not animals! Just buy the stupid Season Pass, it's $1.77 an episode. That's the cost of 20% of a Chipotle burrito in New York, and, just like a Chipotle burrito, "Coven" is filled with many incongruous flavors wrapped into a surprisingly seemly whole. You can also buy it on iTunes if that's your thing (i.e. if you have an iPad). Or if you actually do have cable, you can just watch it on demand, of course. But those are about the limits, and none of them are free.

Sorry, folks - I wish I had a better answer as to "American Horror Story" season 3, episode 5 streaming. But seriously, invest - there's some crazy spoilers coming up (we know because they spilled online). And it's an episode you don't want to miss.

"American Horror Story" season 3 episode 5, "Coven: Burn, Witch. Burn!" hits FX at 10 PM Eastern, 9 Central.
