Amanda Davis, Fox 5 anchor at WAGA in Atlanta, Ga., was arrested on Sunday on DUI charges after she was involved in a wrong-way crash, Atlanta police said. Amanda Davis was driving northbound in a southbound lane at approximately 12:20 p.m. when the she crashed, authorities said.

When officers arrived on scene, he saw Amanda Davis' green Fiat facing the wrong way on Atlanta's Piedmont Avenue, and looked like it was involved in a head-on collision. The officer also noticed that Amanda Davis smelled of alcohol, and admitted to drinking when asked.

Amanda Davis was given a field sobriety test, which she promptly failed, authorities said. She was taken to the Atlanta jail on charges of DUI, failure to maintain lane and reckless driving.

In a statement, Fox 5 said "We are aware of the situation and we are currently investigating."
